EAST Network: Community Rules

This is a community that is intended to support BESEAs in scripted television. Membership requires that you agree to our Community Rules and meet our minimum membership criteria, however, admission to and continued access to this community is at the sole discretion of the EAST management team. These rules apply to both online and offline activities of EAST and are subject to change from time to time.

Community Rules

  1. Be polite and considerate. Remember that not everyone's views and experiences are the same as yours. Be respectful of other members.

  2. This is a forum for discussion not debate. The purpose is not to 'win' arguments but to encourage understanding, listen to points of view and explore different ideas and solutions.

  3. EAST will not tolerate harassment or hateful conduct, including discrimination, hate speech, bullying, or targeted attacks.

  4. No inappropriate content will be allowed. This includes sexual or violent conduct, but also spam.

  5. Do not direct message other members asking for help UNLESS they have indicated they are open to this on their profile, group discussions or at an EAST event.

The Chatham House Rule

The Chatham House Rule will apply to all discussions on the online network and to all member-only events (including in person Ask Me Anything sessions). This means that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed. Learn more about this here.
